Light Vehicle Fitter

Redpath Mining is seeking a skilled Light Vehicle Fitter / Mechanic to join our team at the Eagle Farm Plant Yard. This permanent role offers long-term job security and the opportunity to work on a diverse fleet of underground mining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Diagnose faults and replace/repair components
• Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Identify and manage risks proactively

About You:

• Qualified Fitter/Mechanic with strong diagnostic skills
• Basic auto-electrical knowledge
• Preferably experienced in New machine fit-outs and Toyota Landcruisers
• Able to pass police clearance and pre-employment medical
• Valid manual driver’s licence
• Self-motivated with a “Consider it done – safely” attitude
